Our main product is a modular sofa collection we call “The World’s Greatest Modular Sofa” that includes features such as endless modularity, water-repellent and stain-resistant fabrics, removable and machine-washable covers, memory foam cushions, and many more. All products are sustainably-built, free from harmful chemicals, and designed to last 10 years or more.
We are currently looking for a Showroom Project Manager who will be responsible for managing our showroom buildouts, overseeing visual merchandising for all showrooms, helping us set and maintain showroom standards with sales staff, and assisting with managing local contractor relations. This role sits within the Showroom & Sales team and you will work closely with the Sales Manager and sales staff to help shape our overall customer experience at our local showrooms. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about interior design & architecture, takes pride in turning a blank canvas into a beautiful space, and someone who is reliable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project management cycle for showroom development by implementing and spearheading openings of all showrooms across North America from start to finish
- Create accurate budgets, detailed timelines, and impactful processes to complete each showroom opening within time and budget
- Implement scalable processes to ensure the correct maintenance and management of all showroom operations
- Maintain constant communication, both oral and written, with showroom staff and contractors to ensure the correct development and management of showroom construction and operation
- Maintain constant communication, both oral and written, with Senior Management to ensure project alignment
- Develop and maintain key metric reporting and ad-hoc analyses which includes but not limited to vendor analyses, contractor analyses, and showroom KPIs
- Support CEO and COO for ad-hoc requests and decision-support analysis
- Support the creation of annual and multi-year strategic plan in showroom development
- Develop Senior Management presentations and meetings on showroom development and maintenance
- Maintain financial, budget and project management models to ensure the correct development of showroom development
- Identify and develop process efficiencies and automation to create standardize, efficient, and repeatable processes to create the most profit maximizing solution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major or concentration in business analytics, data analytics, or mathematics
- At least 2 years of combined project management, data analysis, or business intelligence experience at startups or high growth tech companies
- Experience in finance, budgeting, and planning for an operation unit
- Experience working with international commerce and international vendors, including but not limited to international procurement and shipment
- Ability to work with teams, both as a team player and leader
- Experience working with MS Excel, Monday.com and other project management tools, as well as strong PowerPoint experience
- Experience in contract revision
- Ability communicate with international partners, vendors, and contractors
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
- Understanding of and ability to manage accounting processes
- Willingness and ability to work in-office (remote options not currently available)
